The focal point of our dessert table was most certainly these custom Wanted posters created by Joey & Tanner's talented graphic designer daddy! The personalization and details make these truly one of a kind...and a fun keepsake for the boys!
For color, we added these tall, inflatable cactus to either end of the table. In keeping with the rustic nature of a western theme, we chose a simple burlap tablelinen. For a slight twist, and to bring in more color, we added a navy & white gingham table runner.
Below our tablescape, we proudly displayed this custom piece of handpainted Texas artwork with an orange heart over the city of Houston, where these sweet boys were born. I definitely love decorating events with items that can be re-purposed following the event.
Each of the boys had their own birthday cake; simple 3 layer naked cakes topped with real horseshoes, a western star "4" and their initial painted in navy for a bit of personalization. We also served hay stacks, aka rice krispy treats, lassos, aka red licorice and simple cupcakes with jute cord tied around the base.
Seated tables outdoors were covered in coordinating navy & white gingham linens. And in keeping with our theme, and for more color, we filled boots with fresh florals.
Among the activities available to keep the guests entertained, were this custom rope horse and the bucking bronco ride.
It was a hot one that day, but the guests had an amazing time celebrating these sweet twins' 4th birthday!!
