Main Dessert Table
We utilized the park’s picnic table and benches for our main table’s set up. We covered it in a high quality paper tablecloth, then used green and white lattice gift wrap as a table runner. The centerpiece of the table were Gabriella’s gorgeous two tiered cake and her coordinating smash cake, both created by Stacey Fuller of Whoo’s Bakery. To either side of the cakes were two cute white wooden fence displays showcasing ladybug cake ball pops from Angie’s Cake and mini pinwheels. To add height to the table, we used white tulips in pink and green gardening containers. And to add a bit of whimsy, Gabriella’s mom created caterpillar gumball tubes filled with grapes for kids to snack on.
Party Favors
In keeping with the theme and park venue, we thought it was a sweet concept to serve guests snacks in individual child-sized picnic baskets, which also double as a party favor. Each of the baskets had a sweet favor tag tied to them using green raffia which said, “Thanks for Buzzing By”. I know my toddlers absolutely love putting things in and out of any type of container, basket or box; so, these were certainly a hit!
