Allison's "Hip Hop" Dance Birthday Party

8/5/2014

Guests of Allison's 9th birthday party were in for a big treat!

Held at a hip-hop dance studio, guests were guided through a choreography session, led by professional dance instructors. Following their lesson, the entire group of 40 guests performed their routine on video.

Another huge party hit was the photo booth, where guests were able to dress- up using a variety of props. Photos were printed on-site for an immediate takeaway.

The main food table was decorated with bright colors, a graffiti inspired 2-tier cake, microphone cake ball pops, cupcakes set on old-fashioned vinyl records as serving platters and rock candy. The centerpiece of the table was the inflatable boom box (great party prop that can serve a useful function later).

As guests departed, they were given their favor bags full of fun gold sunglasses, and an over-sized $$$ beaded necklace, adorned with a gift tag reading "You Made my Party Totally Awesome- Allison".

Friday's Freebie: Back to School "Teacher Treat" Cards

It is hard to believe that it is nearly time to take the kiddos back to school!! Our almost 3 year old son is starting his 2nd year of preschool and our daughter (17 mos) is starting school for the very first time; both 2 days per week.

I am hoping that Nora loves school as much as Harrison!

While so many components make for a great school year, one of the most important are our teachers. Tell yours how much you appreciate and look forward to partnering with them this year by sharing a small treat on your child's 1st day back to school.

Here are some popular back to school treat ideas:
-Starbuck's or local coffee shop gift cards ($5-10 denominations)
-Gift cards to local donut or breakfast shops
-Gift cards to local school supply stores
-Handmade treats (i.e. muffins, cookies, breads)

Be sure to print our FREE Teacher Treat cards to give your back to school gift an added touch.

Enjoy!
