How great is it that you can create custom party décor in just minutes with your Cricut Joy!!? It has become a tradition in our home for me to create colorful birthday decorations for each of our 4 kiddos. Sometimes the themes are custom, while others I simply modify already amazing designs that I find in Cricut Design Space. While you can create virtually anything with your Cricut Joy, I have 5 quick party decorations that have become my favorites to create for celebrations.
Banners have to be my favorite party decoration, as they work beautifully in some many ways. One of our favorite birthday traditions is to decorate our family breakfast table with a colorful banner, pom-poms and lanterns and the gifts as a surprise the morning of someone’s birthday. This colorful bunting banner was created in mere minutes using a design we fell in love with on Cricut Design Space. It can be cut in any color combination, which makes it perfect for custom themes or for that special someone who has a favorite color.
Confetti is a versatile little party decoration. I love adding it into the insides of birthday cards as a fun surprise for the recipient, or spreading it across a treat spread for the birthday boy or girl. Choose your designs in Cricut Design space, modify the sizing as needed, choose your cardstock colors, then print!!! It’s that simple.
Any beverage is instantly transformed into something amazing with a fun straw! Am I right!?! Whether you are celebrating at home with family, or hosting friends, a custom straw topper to match your birthday girl/boy’s theme. Simply choose a design, size the images down to approximately 1-1.5 inches, cut and then attach to a straw using double sided craft tape.
Raise your hand if you are a snail mail fan!! I totally am. Anything that is colorful is the very first thing I always open when I head out to my mailbox. Surprise someone you care about with these amazing and colorful cards that can be cut in just minutes!! I create them in batches and then keep them for upcoming birthdays or for when I need a last-minute card for a birthday party parade! There are endless designs available, and with the card mat, it literally is a snap to make something colorful and beautiful.
While I am a sucker for amazing dessert designs, sometimes a store-bought cupcake will do just fine! I love to dress up simple store-bought cupcakes with paper wrappers and toppers; they really add a personalized touch. I fell in love with this simple party hat design, so I cut the pattern out using my Cricut Joy, then glued a simple white piece for the backing and added a food-safe stick using double sided adhesive tape.
I can’t wait to see what you create for the special moments in your life using the Cricut Joy!! Shop for the Cricut that is perfect for your party décor needs at Cricut.com.
