Woodland Animals Birthday Party

There’s something about Fall that just welcomes warm colors, snuggly clothing, the outdoors and iconic images such as s’mores. We absolutely love the idea of hosting a woodland animal birthday party once the seasons begin to change and are super excited about our new exclusive woodland animal party supply collection.

The inspiration for our dessert table’s backdrop was the birch tree design wrapping our birthday party invitation. Our friend over at Created by Jackie created this hand-painted masterpiece, complete with 3D birch tree columns and a free-standing hand-painted wooden fox pulled from our party supply collection.

To bring in a bit of color into the table’s décor, we sprinkled these printable mushrooms from our woodland printable party supply collection. While they are intended to be strung as a banner, they have could have a number of possible uses in a party’s design.

To ground the design, we chose a chocolate brown table linen and then added this chocolate brown tableskirt for additional texture. Our Happy Birthday banner was complemented by this colorful yarn tassel garland. I love layering garlands or banners across the front of dessert tables, as it adds a nice texture component and fills up the visual design space below the main set-up.

We offered guests s’mores cupcakes displayed on a 3-tier wooden server and this amazing log cake, all on our new line of woodland animal party plates. Wooden forks were the ideal utensil option for this woodland theme, and to dress them up a bit we displayed them upright in a small jelly jar.

Our birthday boy was clearly loving his garments from Knuckleheads clothing; their options are amazing for little boys looking for personality in their wardrobe.

Guests took home custom, edible imprinted apples from the good folks over at Fun to Eat Fruit. We just love the idea of a practical, healthy party favor option and these apples complete with our edible fox image were the perfect option for this party theme.
