I am in-love with this nautical birthday party design we created especially for sweet Walker’s 1st birthday. Classic sailboats, calligraphy font and modern designs melded together bringing this fun party concept together for this cutie pie and his family and friends. We hope you love all of the nautical party details.
Main Dessert Table
Anchoring this adorable sweets table was the custom wooden backdrop from Created by Jackie featuring the sailboat and monogram from the party’s invitation. On either side of this amazing backdrop housed simple cupcakes dressed up with printable sailboat toppers, displayed in boat hulls. Oyster cake balls were displayed in half shells on sand (aka brown sugar). And, 2 floral arrangements inspired by the sea offered height for this table display.
The custom created nautical birthday party cakes for Walker’s celebration were amazing, to say the least! The primary cake was a 2-tiered nautical cake created out of fondant, with fun imagery around the sides. For the nautical birthday party smash cake, we opted for a simple “wave” design using buttercream, and topped with s fun little boat. For first birthday parties, nothing is sweeter than a simple smash cake for photos!
Children’s Tables
These sweet tables were modern and classic by design; navy linens, white table runners, patterned placemats and white Chivari chairs set the backdrop. The banners were displayed above the table in nautical clear glass/rope containers. And, each place setting boasted personalized sand buckets for each of the tiny guests filled with packaged snacks and doubling as favors.
Nautical Birthday Party Activities
Everywhere you looked there was something to entertain these tiny guests; sailboat water table, buckets of water filled with games such as go-fish, catch the duckies and fish the sailboats out with nets. There was an adorable photo booth area filled with dress-up items, an adorable wave backdrop and disposable cameras for guests to capture their poses. And, to get everyone in the nautical mood, fun white sailor hats were available for all of the guests at the sign in table.
We hope you enjoyed “sailing” by to browse Walker’s nautical birthday party photos, and that you found inspiration for your upcoming celebration!
