Summertime and shark parties seem to go hand in hand….something about the heat, water and sunshine screams shark!! For this sweet little party, we kept things streamlined, simple and focused on a few key elements to make this birthday boy super happy. We hope you love our simple shark party ideas shared below!
Shark Party Ideas
Since this party was poolside, we set up the dessert and snack table outdoors to be accessible to guests. Linens have a tendency to blow in the wind, so we opted to decorate the table with fun props versus traditional coverings. An inflatable shark that doubled as a party prop was set to one side. And, a portable shark photo prop was set to the other. A “Happy Birthday” banner draped the front of the table, and white and blue balloons at varying heights added interest and a low table backdrop.
For a touch of red, we chose red and white striped paper plates, perfectly coordinating with the red accents in our printable collection. As another option, we offer coordinating shark paper plates and cups to pair with this design theme. For freshness, white florals were displayed in nautical glass containers on the dessert table.
Shark Party Desserts
Cupcakes were dressed up with personalized cupcake toppers and then set inside blue and white striped baking cups. And for variety, we added shark lollipops inside a galvanized metal serving piece.
