This Spring farmhouse tablescape is ideal for Easter brunch, or would be the perfect transition from the holiday into the remaining Spring months, mixing bright pops of color, galvanized metals and natural, paper mache eggs. We hope you find inspiration in the photos below for your upcoming Spring parties or family meals!
When creating place settings, I love layering elements for a more visually interesting end result. We started with these oversized, circle rattan placemats as a base, then added white plate chargers and our bright teal stoneware plates. For personalization, we added plaecards atop these adorable galvanized metal planters filled with fresh baby’s breath. And for a final touch, we added these simple clear farmhouse water glasses from the Hearth and Hand collection at Target; I love the delicate dot pattern around the top of each glass!
Our wooden centerpiece was long and slender, which is ideal for a rectangular dining space. It fills negative space, while offering a comfortable amount of room for dining, without impeding conversation. This whitewashed wooden planter is extremely versatile, and I find myself re-working arrangements with ease throughout season changes. For this tablescape, we filled the container with fresh moss, added faux yellow flowers for a pop of color; then, we topped the arrangement with scattered paper mache eggs. You could easily add white-washed eggs or naturally dyed eggs leftover from Easter for a similar look. And, fresh flowers in a vibrant yellow would also be ideal!
This tablescape is simple to pull together, yet offers interest with layered textural elements, pops of color and personalized details. Be sure to download your FREE printable placecards below! We can’t wait to see your Spring tablescape ideas; be sure to share on social media!
