We love celebrating every holiday in our house!! And whenever I can add a little surprise joy in our kids’ lunchboxes with a fun pun or can come up with something the kids can share with their classmates, I go for it!
This year, we created a simple “Bunny Bait” snack mix that we have enjoyed with friends at play dates, have packed in lunch boxes as a special snack treat, and plan to hand out to classmates next week as a fun little surprise.
Bunny Bait Ingredients
To create your own “Bunny Bait” snack mix, you will need to gather the following ingredients:
• Popcorn (i.e Skinny Pop)
• Bunny Grahams
• Pastel Colored Mini Marshmallows
• Easter Chocolate Candies
• Mini Pretzels
• Chex Cereal (i.e. Rice Chex)
You could also choose mini chocolate chips, other cereal varietals, “Muddy Buddies”, pretzel rods, dried fruits (i.e. raisins, cranberries), or nuts. The options are literally endless when it comes to the combination of snack goodies you could use!
Putting Your Bunny Bait Goodies Together
Simply mix your chosen goodies together (4-6 different options), place in a plastic bag or for added fun, a cone shaped icing bag to make a “carrot” shape, and add your printable “Bunny Bait” tag below. You can find cone shaped bags at your local craft store, or you can use icing bags found at any local grocer. Bunny Bait would also make a perfect snack at an Easter party, Easter Brunch or Spring get together. We can’t wait to see how you use Bunny Bait this Easter season!
