By a show of “likes”, where are the mommies out there who would LOVE their child to bring home non-candy treats from their classroom parties!?!? My kids all LOVE exchanging Halloween goodies with their classmates; it is definitely a highlight. But, too often, they bring home plastic items that we eventually toss, or a bag full of sugary treats. While certainly those items are fun, I am definitely more in favor of non-candy items that can be used by the child and their families. Plus, Halloween can sometimes become a sugar overload between classroom parties, Trunk Or Treat events, neighborhood parties and then the big finale, Halloween night! I mean…who actually eats all of the candy from their treat bags?? I know in our house, we let them have a few days of fun, then we toss half of it away…..
