Who remembers that song about a purple people eater?!? Those lyrics inspired our children’s Halloween party this year, and we hope you just love it! We are sharing how to DIY the purple eyeball pumpkin centerpieces, simple treat bags filled with the candies from the SKITTLES® candies and STARBURST® Fruit Chews Variety Bag that we picked up at Walmart, a simple printable that turns HUBBA BUBBA® BUBBLE TAPE® AWESOME ORIGINAL® Gum into eyeballs, and a fun printable Bingo game. DIY Monster Pumpkin Centerpieces
To complete this simple DIY, you will need craft pumpkins in various sizes, 3 complementary monochromatic colors of spray paint, giant plastic eyeballs and a hot glue gun.
Step 1: Coat each pumpkin in your selected color of spray paint. To achieve the ombre look shown, use 3 different shades of the same color, starting with the darkest color for the center pumpkin. Then, move from darkest to lightest, and largest to smallest with the remaining pumpkins.
Step 2: Attach the plastic googly eyes to each pumpkin using a hot glue gun.

Let’s Play Bingo!
For children’s parties, I love setting out a small, non-messy activity at the tables to keep those little hands busy. For our monster Halloween party, we printed these simple black and white Bingo cards and set out colorful STARBURST® fruit chews to play the game with. Needless to say, it was a HIT! EYEball Gum Containers
To complete this simple DIY project, which was a fun treat waiting for the party guests at each place setting, you will need the following:
- HUBBA BUBBA® BUBBLE TAPE® AWESOME ORIGINAL® Gum containers
- 2.5″ craft punch or scissors
- Eyeball Printable (scroll to the end of this post for your FREE download)
- Double sided tape or adhesive craft tape
To complete this project, begin by downloading and printing the FREE printable at the end of this post. Using a 2.5″ craft punch or scissors, trim each printed eyeball. Then, attach one eyeball to each HUBBA BUBBA® BUBBLE TAPE® AWESOME ORIGINAL® Gum using double sided tape or craft adhesive.
Halloween Treat Bags with Printable Googly Eye Toppers
Last but not least, let’s talk party favors. At nearly every children’s party, I like to create simple treat bags for each party guest to take home. For our monster theme Halloween party, we created simple DIY treat bags using our FREE printable “No Tricks, Just Treats” bag toppers. To recreate this look at home, begin by downloading and printing the toppers at the end of this post. Next, fill clear cellophane bags with SKITTLES® candies and STARBURST® fruit chews. And finally, using a single staple, attach the folded printable topper to the top of each treat bag. We displayed our Halloween party favors in a plastic black cauldron on our treat table.
