One of the most commonly asked questions I see is, “How much does a typical party cost?” Well, while I would love to give a ballpark answer to moms that pose this question, the answer is “it depends!” We have helped plan children’s birthday parties in all price ranges; $200-2500+.
The party budget doesn’t always dictate how cute the final result is; often, with time to shop around and a little DIY, we can help create adorable parties on virtually any budget. This sweet Paw Patrol party was for an adorable 3 year old named Griffin. Above are the ideas we came up with for a budget under $250.
Paw Patrol is our #1 viewed party package online!! This sweet 3rd birthday party for Griffin was originally scheduled at a park, but cold winter weather forced us to relocate to a nearby Chick-fil-a. Nevertheless, the birthday boy had an amazing time celebrating with family and friends as he turned the big 3!
Some details to look for include:
-Bone piñata table centerpiece; serves double duty as a decoration and party activity
-Adorable Paw Patrol inspired birthday cake created by our friends at Whoo’s Bakery
-Party snacks served in dog bowls
-DIY party blowers using printables from Nick Jr.
Main Dessert Table
Our goal when designing this park party was to keep things simple and affordable. We chose to invest the majority of the party’s budget into a few key items- the custom cake, bone piñata, Paw Patrol plates and napkins (a new collection offered by Birthday Express) and bone crayon favors. The remaining items, including solid colored napkins, dog bowls, and favor bags we picked up from our local Dollar Tree. By blending a few key items with inexpensive décor finds, we were able to keep this entire party’s budget in the $250 range.
Party Favors
Guests took home bags with fun Paw Patrol inspired favor tags reading “Thanks for the Puptastic Time”. Each bag was filled with an adorable dog bone crayon set, perfect for the toddler age group!
