Are you ready to get your snack on for the Big Game!? In my house we are definitely Team Snack! When arranging snacks for family and friends, I love to take things up a notch or two in terms of presentation. Today, I am sharing a few of our favorite game day snacks, that are not only delicious, but simple to put together!
Game Day Finger Foods
Who doesn’t love pepperoni!?! My kids are huge fans of pizza in general, but especially of pepperoni. So, adding this flavor into our Game Day snack tray was a no-brainer. But, I wanted to get a little more creative with our snacks than traditional pepperoni slices. The BIGS Little Caesar’s Extra Most Bestest Pepperoni Pizza sunflower seeds are perfect for snacking. They’re loaded with the familiar taste of Little’s Caesar’s Pepperoni Pizza and fire roasted for a big crunch. Serve them in a small glass bowl alongside a meat and cheese tray for an easy to enjoy snack.
I LOVE a great meat and cheese tray! In fact, I always create some version of it when hosting friends in our home. In addition to an assortment of crackers and cheese slices, I like to add small, easy to pick-up bites. For this Big Game, I opted for meat and cheese bites. And, instead of a mild flavoring, I went for bold and spicy. The Slim Jim Savage is giant, at nearly 3x the size of a @slimjim Giant Stick. And, it’s full of bold, spicy flavor. I alternated thick slices with a variety of cheeses for a fun little snack.
A must-have snack item in Texas for all sporting events, including the Big Game, is chips and salsa. One of the key ingredients in an amazing, fresh salsa is garlic! One of my favorite kitchen hacks when making salsa is using pre-portioned, frozen fresh herbs from Dorot Gardens. One cube=one clove of garlic. I simply pop out the portions I need, eliminating chopping, peeling and the mess!! I find these amazing portions to be more convenient than fresh garlic. I simply keep them in my freezer, for whenever I need to add garlic to my recipes.
I hope that our simple, elevated Big Game snack ideas inspire you to get creative with your menu this year. Have fun and be creative with your Game Day snacks!
