Elmer the Elephant is a sweet children’s book with an amazing message of self-acceptance. I was thrilled to collaborate with Caroline & Weston’s mommy on this joint 4th and 1st birthday party!
Elmer the Elephant Party Decorations
The backdrop for our dessert table highlighted Elmer himself on a 3D, custom wooden backdrop. For added color and height, we added 2, 36″ balloons with custom colorful tissue tassels.
Doubling as decor and a party activity was this amazing, over-sized Elmer pinata! I mean….isn’t he just amazing!?!
To bring the Elmer patchwork coloring to the front of our dessert table, we draped a simple “Happy Birthday” banner with the patchwork design around the edges.
Seated guest tables were draped in a burlap linen with a colorful, custom made pom pom runner across the center. Colorful 5 foot, 36″ balloons with colorful tissue tassels served as centerpieces.
Elmer Party Activities
Party guests were entertained by this colorful photo booth backdrop, complete with Elmer the elephant hat props! For the littles, a table full of DIY plush elephants and an assortment of colorful fabric markers awaited them. These color your own plush elephants were not only fun to create, but a great take-home item.
