Flamingo Birthday Party Decorations
When designing outdoor parties, forgo more traditional backdrop options that could be affected by weather. Instead, incorporate alternative design elements at the base of the table to draw the eye. For Camilla’s party, we created a custom photo board with her adorable monthly pictures that we set off to one side of the table.
The table was draped in a bold, teal linen. For dimension, we added a colorful piece of gift wrap to act as a table runner. The centerpiece of this adorable dessert table is the 2-tier flamingo birthday cake by our friends at Whoo’s Bakery.
For a touch of whimsy (and every kiddos’ favorite), we flanked the cake with two donut hole towers. On either end of the table were tropical floral arrangements sitting in carved out pineapples. To continue with the fun pineapple concept, we displayed pineapple cake ball pops on two pedestals. Desserts were served on fun teal Trellis patterned paper plates.
Children’s Tables
To offer some color contrast, the children’s seated tables were covered in pink linens. Wide tropical floral arrangements topped with none other than pink plastic flamingos, served as whimsical centerpieces. Each guest’s place setting housed colorful plastic sand buckets with pink flamingo vinyl decals. These sand buckets were perfect summertime party favors for our flamingo birthday party.
