3 Tips for Throwing a Last Minute, Budget Friendly NYE Party

I loved the challenge of pulling together a gorgeous NYE party on a budget as an Evite influencer! All of the décor items shown in our “on the fly” party were sourced for less than $100!! To create your own New Year’s Eve party on a budget, follow our 3 simple tips:

1.Take Inventory of Supplies or Décor Items you Already Have

Before heading out to shop for party supplies, take a look around at what you might already have; table linens, leftover supplies from last year, plates, paper napkins, and holiday décor. If you have items available, use them as a jumping off point for your overall design look. We found a black table linen and white chargers, and used those items to build our table settings upon. As we headed out shopping, we looked for items to add to these basics.

I am always pleasantly stunned at the items I find in dollar bins or dollar stores. These rimmed plastic plates were an amazing find, as not only do they add a punch of color to our table, they are super easy for parties; simply enjoy then toss! Our champagne glasses were also a dollar aisle find, perfectly matching our table setting’s coloring. To pull the look together, we added pink tinsel garlands down the table’s center for a simple, $2 runner.
