It’s the sweetest time of year….citrus season!! November is a month to celebrate what we are thankful for, and I am certainly thankful for friends and family. But, I also love the opportunity to celebrate friendships, both new and old…hence, the Friendsgiving concept was born. So, why not celebrate these delicious, juicy fruits with a Fall Friendsgiving tablescape!!
To celebrate these little Cuties, we utilized them in a number of different ways on our Fall table; as a centerpiece, party favor and a delicious appetizer.
The fresh floral centerpiece was created using layered fresh greenery and Cuties carefully placed at random lengthwise across the table. We found our greenery at the local Whole Foods, but you can also ask local florists and/or grocers if they carry it in bulk. I love this centerpiece idea as it not only allows the citrus to be the star of the table, but you can reuse the fruit after the event, making this DIY concept not only beautiful, but practical.
The white textured dinner plates pop off the navy blue tablecloth, and texture is added with these wooden rounds used as chargers. To bring in another layer of pattern and texture, we added these blue and white rustic gingham napkins under each plate.

Dinner guests each took home a small token of appreciation, individual Cuties wrapped in parchment with tags reading, “Thankful for my Cuties.”
