Baked Ravioli Bites
These unexpected baked pasta bites are one of my favorite football party recipes! They are perfectly portioned as small bites, and offer a fun play on a traditional pasta dish. AND, they are super easy to make!!
To recreate this recipe at home, you will need the following:
- Package of fresh cheese filled ravioli
- 1 cup 4C Seasoned Breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup 4C Homestyle Parmesan Cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp water
- 2 cups New RAGÚ Simply Roasted Garlic Sauce
We choose 4C Homestyle Parmesan Cheese as it’s made without preservatives or fillers. It’s simply nutty, wonderful 100% cheese. 4C Seasoned Breadcrumbs are perfectly toasted breadcrumbs blended with herbs and spices. It’s the perfect coating, adding crunch and texture to these ravioli bites!
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Place a wire rack onto a rimmed cookie sheet and coat with cooking spray.
- Combine breadcrumbs and parmesan in a shallow bowl.
- Whisk egg and water in a separate shallow bowl.
- Dip each ravioli into the egg mixture, then into the breadcrumb mixture pressing lightly to coat. Then, place the ravioli onto the wire rack.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until the ravioli are light brown and crispy.
Serve these baked ravioli bites alongside New RAGÚ Simply Roasted Garlic Sauce, boasting a rich taste of roasted garlic, plump tomatoes and onion. It’s made with 100% olive oil, has no added sugar and is simply delicious I like to garnish the sauce with a bit of fresh, chopped basil right before serving.

Pineapple Ginger Meatballs
Meatballs are a classic party appetizer option, but we are adding a small twist to this dish by introducing sweet Hawaiian flavors. One of my favorite things about this football party snack is that it can be created in mere minutes!
To recreate this recipe at home, you will need the following ingredients:
- 1 bag of frozen meatballs (choose a traditional, non-flavored option)
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions
- 2/3 cup rice wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp corn starch
- 1 cup fresh pineapple juice
- 2 cubes of ginger from Dorot Gardens
Add the meatballs to your slow cooker. Mix together the ingredients for your pineapple ginger glaze: rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, corn starch, pineapple juice and cubes of ginger from Dorot Gardens. These cubes are pre-portioned, eliminating chopping and measuring which makes prep time a breeze. Cook on low for 2-3 hours, then garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions prior to serving. For a touch of football, use game day flags when serving versus traditional toothpicks.
French Onion Dip & Vegetable Platter
Variety is the spice of any great appetizer spread! A popular homemade dip recipe of mine is this French Onion dip made simpler using Big Lou’s Sweet Onion Sauce (also available in Spicy) and convenient pre-portioned garlic from Dorot Gardens. We love pairing this homemade dip with vibrant, fresh vegetables such as sliced peppers, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, sliced celery, carrot sticks and snap peas!
To recreate this recipe, you will need the following ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of Big Lou’s Sweet Onion Sauce
- 2 cups of sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp celery salt
- 1 cube garlic from Dorot Gardens
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
Simply mix the ingredients together, then chill for 1 hour (or overnight) before serving. I LOVE how simple this recipe is when we use Big Lou’s Sweet Onion Sauce and Dorot Gardens garlic. Pre-portioned garlic from Dorot Gardens eliminates chopping and measuring, making it easy to prepare appetizers like this French Onion dip. Sauteed onions from Big Lou’s are just like homemade, and because they’re ready to use, they help reduce prep time in the kitchen for your Big Game party!
